Learn how to configure static routing when your router is connected with each other using serial port.Here to make you learn static routing configuration lab easily i have taken a little complex example and configured them step wise.If you are preparing for ccna certification exam this lab will help you to understand and configure static routing.

    Sir, what is the purpose of connecting laptop to router using console cable?

    • There are two way to configure router, first one if we are physical near the router and second one when we are far away from router.When we are physically near router we access router using console wire because in cisco packet tracer you use to double click on router but in real life its not possible to double click on router because it is a physical device a hardware.

      Second method is to access router remotely using telnet or ssh.
